I've been here countless times & wanted to shoot from this spot but fro whatever reason never did, until Saturday! I stood there watching how the water would rush up onto the rocks from the right & channel back down back into the sea. Composition was a little difficult as I tried to keep the burning sun just out of frame. In fact I was worried about the flaring on the filters as the bright sunlight reflected on it. My remedy to this was to stand out of frame to camera left & use my body & baseball cap to block the light hitting the front ND grad, a human gobo.
I also got a few human elements in the image as well. On the horizon to the right are 2 fishermen sliding fresh bait down their ulua poles.
It's ALOHA FRIDAY once again! Have a safe & wonderful weekend everyone!!!
Tomorrow I go shoot!
Aloha a hui hou my friends!
